Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

Introduction

This statement is made on behalf of Nuvens Consulting Limited in accordance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. Although we are not legally required to publish a statement under the Act (as our turnover is below £36 million), we believe in acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships.

Our Business

Nuvens is a small business operating in the cloud software and digital services sector. We are based in the UK and work with a range of clients and suppliers both locally and internationally.

Our Commitment

We are committed to ensuring there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our business or supply chains. We take a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and strive to act ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings.

Supply Chain

Given the nature of our business, we assess the risk of modern slavery in our supply chain to be low. However, we remain vigilant and expect our suppliers and partners to uphold the same high standards. We aim to work only with suppliers who share our values and who are compliant with relevant labour laws.

Policies and Due Diligence

We have implemented the following practices:

  • Performing basic checks on suppliers before engagement.
  • Requiring suppliers to confirm compliance with relevant employment and human rights laws.
  • Promoting awareness of modern slavery risks internally.

Training

Due to the size of our team, we do not currently provide formal training. However, key staff are briefed on the importance of recognising and reporting signs of modern slavery.

Ongoing Review

We will review this statement annually and update our approach as necessary to reflect any changes in our business or legal obligations.
